There is no participation fee other than the cost of your display materials.Carpe Schole- A Christian Homeschool Community Co-op will be hosting a Science Fair February 10th and we want you to participate! We have loose guidelines to help make this project fun and easy for all!
· Project should be self-explanatory. We want each Scientist to be able to walk around and experience others’ projects and not be tied down to their project.
· Options will be a research project to share information, or an experiment following the scientific method with a poster showing steps and final results.
· Project should stand on its own. Meaning if it is flat on the table, it will be difficult to see and read without being picked up. Feel free to include papers and such that can be picked up but prepare with extra copies or laminate to keep from being ripped, torn, or getting dirty from an accidental drop.
· Struggling with an idea? Use the current or previous chapter in your science curriculum, keep it related to the current winter season, or ask one of us! Google is an excellent source for examples.
· Make a trifold poster board, make a diorama (a lot of cool examples with a simple “science diorama” google search), make
a fishbowl scene, but do NOT make something that requires an electrical outlet.
· Projects will be voted on by the group as a whole so we will need Scientist’s name and project name by Sunday February 8th.
