To all Rogues, Wenches, Ren Mercs, Privateers, friends of Otters & anyone else interested in participating (open to all, of course!) – Join us for our 26th Carolina Otter Invasion ! Book early!
We found a new Hotel Otter as of CRF 2023 #24 - the Four Points by Sheraton Charlotte - Lake Norman! off of I-77 exit for NC 73 / Sam Furr Road, near where we used to stay at the original Hotel Otter. The hotel is by the Bob Evans near the Target & Harris Teeter. The hotel we chose has a fitness center, laundry facilities, a small convenience store, a restaurant, and even an indoor pool. We will also be close to many different kinds of restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores that are within a five-mile area.
What you need to know #1 from Harold: If we can achieve 50 cumulative rooms booked, the hotel will give us the use of the conference room for free. If we can’t accomplish 50 rooms booked minimum it will cost us $350 for the use of the Conference Room for the weekend. If you use points to book a room, this will not be counted as part of the group according to the hotel.
The Room Rates for 2025 are: $119/ night for a traditional room with a King size bed or two Double beds ($5 increase); Suites for Double, Queen, and King are $149/night (same as last year). These rates include breakfast at the hotel for every guest in the room, which would normally cost extra.

When people click on the link it will be set for Nov. 5th - 10th, adjust this for the dates you need.
Rate Information: Rates quoted are net, non-commissionable and subject to tax which is currently 15.25%.
Cancellation: Individuals must cancel at least 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to one night’s room and tax.
RESERVATION DEADLINE: Friday, October 25, 2025, after that the room rate for us will no longer be available.
What you need to know #2 from Harold:
After you have booked your room, please send me (Harold) a private message letting me know and also post on the Event Page Discussion that you have done that, this lets me keep a room count.
If there are any problems that arise with making the reservations, please let us know, and I will reach out to my contact with the hotel to take care of them.
