The Krewe, Buccaholics, and all Bucs fans are welcome to join us for the annual Carolina Buccaneer's Krewe tailgate on Sunday, December 1st. Last year we had 172 Pewter Pirate fans tailgating before we beat the Kitty Kats! The game is at 405PM (unless it gets flexed to an earlier time).
This year we are upgrading the experience! We plan to provide keg beer. As always we will have food and drinks and lots of people will bring food.
You can arrive as early as you’d like. Some of the Krewe admins will be there by 730AM to setup our Krewe tent and flag. Most of us will be there before 10AM. Many of the Krewe will buy tickets to attend the game but some may remain at the tailgate to watch the game on TV or listen on radio. We will usually have a television for those that aren’t buying tickets. Eric will bring his Bucs corn hole boards. He will probably bring his speakers and music (we try to stop him, but it never works).

Who can come: Anyone who supports the Bucs. They do not have to be official Krewe members, but please consider joining our FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/23058449774
Food: We will have BBQ, hot dogs, and hamburgers plus snacks. We will provide non-alcoholic drinks and a keg of beer (or a few) until the beer runs out. .
Tailgate location: We are in the same place every year. It is the gravel lot across from 703 McNinch Street. It is at the intersection of McNinch and Hill Street. Best access is to take West Morehead St. to McNinch street and turn on McNinch. You can also take Cedar St. to Westmere Ave. and turn on Westmere which dead ends at the tailgate location. We will be about a half mile walk from the stadium for those who are planning to go to the game. Typically we setup in the back right corner of the lot.
Cost to park: They charge $50 per vehicle to park. If you arrive early, please look for the Krewe flag and tent so we can have a bunch of our people parked in one spot. The lot normally does not fill up so you could even arrive late and get a spot.
Cost of tailgate: We ask attendees to donate $10 per person. Every year some attendees donate $20 per person, and we appreciate that extra help. I always donate $100 each year to make sure the admins aren’t upside down on purchases. If possible, please send donations in advance to:

If you can’t do that, please give your contributions to Dave or to any Krewe Admin at the tailgate (Mark, Brandon, Eric, Tony, Vlad, Benny, Rick, Andi, etc.).
Game tickets: You can buy tickets online or possibly from scalpers outside the stadium. There are no plans to have a large Krewe section as this is too hard to pull off, but small groups can usually find tickets together.
Bringing Items: If you would like to bring items to share (drinks, alcohol, snacks, sides, desserts, hamburger/ hot dog buns) that is always appreciated. If you post in the comments what you are bringing, we can try to coordinate so we don’t have everyone bringing the same things. Bringing items to share is optional but appreciated. The Krewe will provide plates, napkins, silverware, condiments, BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, snacks, drinks, and one or more kegs of beer.
We need extra tables, tents, and folding chairs so let us know in the comments if you can bring those.
Please let us know if you will attend and how many will be with you so we know how much to buy. If you are bringing friends, please let them know to Venmo or Zelle $10 per person. If you send money in advance that will help us to purchase the correct quantities.
