The Blue Rose is proud to kick off our 2025 season with enchanting jazz vocalist Carol
Manson backed by the Blue Skies Band featuring Chet Chwalik on keys, Barry Hutcherson on drums, and Rob Lemas on bass. Carol is a local jazz treasure with unique spiritual depth. As Inside Sacramento wrote, she is “a singer who soars” with “clear, joyful voice and playful musicianship." Carol, originally from Berkeley, California has recorded two CD’s - All Is Well and Child’s Heart. As the longtime Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of the Sacramento Jazz Cooperative, Carol has played an active and instrumental role in keeping jazz alive in the River City. Join us as she brings the magic to our living room! Ticket includes complimentary light refreshments.
