About this Event

We are thrilled to welcome Caro Claire Burke to Waterstones Piccadilly to celebrate her debut novel Yesteryear. Fresh, sharp and utterly addictive, this firecracker of a debut novel unravels the realities behind an American tradwife's immaculate Instagram presence, combining a thrillingly complex protagonist with piercing political commentary and intoxicating twists.

Caro Claire Burke received her Master’s in Fine Arts from the Bennington Writing Seminars. She is the co-host of Diabolical Lies, a politics and culture podcast. Yesteryear is her first novel.

Sarah Wynn-Williams is an author, former New Zealand diplomat and international lawyer. She joined Facebook after pitching a job and ultimately became director of global public policy. After leaving the company, she published a best-selling book and has continued to work on tech policy.

Please note: Book and ticket option includes a copy of Yesteryear (RRP. £16.99) available for collection on the night.
