🦋 The annual Carnegie Monarch Butterfly Festival is Back 🦋
Mayor Sam Bigham is continuing former Mayor Stacie Riley's Monarch Butterfly Pledge to preserve and protect the Monarch Butterfly. The Monarch Butterfly's population has declined significantly over the years due to habitat destruction and overuse of pesticides. The annual Carnegie Monarch Butterfly Festival helps reverse this by spreading awareness and giving away free native nectars! This event has helped plant native nectars like milkweed across the Borough!
