The ballet tells the tragic story of the captivating gypsy Carmen and her lover Don José, whom she leaves for the young bullfighter Escamillo. Their intertwined lives — and Carmen's final, heartbreaking fall at the hands of Don José — unfold with a sense of fatal inevitability.
Marco Pesta's vivid sets and bold, expressive choreography create a stage space where tradition blends seamlessly with refined theatricality.
This production combines the power of Bizet's classical music with the precision and elegance of the choreography.
