Carlisle Christmas Market 2024 is set to bring festive cheer to the heart of Carlisle city center. This magical market will feature over 40 Alpine-style chalets filled with artisan crafts, unique gifts, and holiday decorations, creating the perfect shopping experience for those seeking thoughtful presents and festive trinkets.
Shoppers can find everything from handmade Christmas decorations to fresh treats and lots more. Hot, fresh food will be available, as well as speciality food and drink to take home. Among the smells and tastes of the food stalls are wonderfully presented craft and gift chalets, selling handmade trinkets and presents. Christmas favourites, such as mulled wine, cheese, and stocking fillers, will also be available.
The Taste Cumbria market is bringing its flavours to Carlisle, joining the city’s annual Christmas Market from Saturday 29 to Sunday 30th December.
Visitors can indulge in a variety of specialty food and drinks, including mulled wine and freshly prepared street food. The market’s pedestrian-friendly layout, against the backdrop of the historic 17th-century Old Town Hall, adds to the charm, making it a delightful destination for families and holiday enthusiasts.
The market operates on the following schedule:
- Monday to Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday (late-night shopping): 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Free parking is available on select days in designated car parks, adding convenience for attendees!
