Carley and Kelsey are bartending again this year! Come to the Hangar Dance at the 2025 Warbirds Over Monroe Airshow weekend ✈️ Location:
Monroe Executive Airport, 3900 Paul J Helms Dr., Monroe, NC 28110
This will be at the large white hangar inside the gate of the airport.
Cost:
$20/pp online Pre-Sale or $25/pp through Eventbrite for dinner and dancing. Kids 16 & Under free!
Beginner Lesson approx. 5:00 pm by Denise & Tom Bach of CharlotteSwingDance.com (Immediately after The Wall of Fire at 4:45 pm)
6:00 PM Dinner Service starts
6:00 - 8:10pm Salisbury Swing Band plays two 1-hour sets with a 10 minute break in between.
8:10 Additional recorded music will be played for those wanting to stay and dance and there is a possibility of having a college jazz band play.
Attire:
WWII uniforms or 1940’s period dress (or veterans in your military uniform) is requested but not required. Having those in period dress makes it extra fun. Airplane hangars have concrete floors, not wood floors. Plan to wear shoes that will work best for you on this surface. Airplane hangars at times can be a bit cool so depending on outside temperature, layers of clothing are sometimes nice to have.
