Are you an acute care RN looking to build confidence in caring for higher-acuity patients? Whether you’re new to rural acute care, expanding your role, or simply in need of a refresher, this two-day, hands-on workshop is designed for you.
Through interactive case studies, group discussion, and simulation-based learning, participants will strengthen critical thinking skills and learn to recognize early signs of patient decline. Together, we’ll explore high-risk acute care scenarios including COPD exacerbation, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular rate, STEMI vs. NSTEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, and alcohol withdrawal.
