If you are one of the approximately 53 million caregivers who have provided unpaid care to an adult in the past 12 months, you understand just how demanding -- and vital -- this role can be.
The Caring for the Caregiver presentation is designed especially for you. It offers an opportunity to pause, rest, and recharge. During this presentation, we'll explore how informal caregiving can affect both mental and physical health. You'll learn why self-care is essential--whether you are caring for a family member, children, or a friend--and how prioritizing your wellbeing supports those you care for.
Participants will practice practical, realistic strategies to help manage stress and maintain balance, along with discovering helpful resources to support ongoing self-care for caregivers.
Registration through the Michigan State University Extension program is highly encouraged: https://pears.io/events/msuext/5898/
