Caring for Children in an Emergency: Q&A

What should you do when your child has a nasty fall? When is a temperature something to worry about? And when should you call a doctor?
Join us for an informal and practical discussion with Kate Lewis, Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioner, who runs the Paediatric Clinic at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital.
Kate will be answering parents’ questions and sharing practical advice on some of the common health concerns that come with raising children — from trips and falls and unexpected illnesses to back-to-school bugs.
The session will also cover Basic Life Support, including what parents should know in an emergency and how you can access Basic Life Support sessions specifically for mums and dads.
Tom Scrase, Business Development Officer at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, will also be joining us to answer questions and provide more information about the hospital and the services available to families.
This is a relaxed, informal session, so bring your questions, share your experiences and come along for an open conversation about keeping your family safe and well.
