Caribbean Youth Summit 2024

Youth Summit is dedicated to providing resources, information, and connection to help our youth discover early in life how their personal identity, social responsability, and how financial literacy can help unlock a positive and productive future.

With the assistance of local community members (community leaders, businesses, and well-known personalities) we seek to provide a culturally diverse environment for students with a focus on personal growth and development beyond the classroom. The principles we seek to convey are summarized in the points below:

1. Provide access to Information, Resources and Connections to assist Youth and their families in accessing opportunities and support.

2. Encourage students to consider their own identities in context of where they are now and where they want to be tomorrow, to lead positive, productive, and satisfying lives.

3. Challenge students to explore their social responsibilities, why they should serve and how best they can serve their communities.

4. Initiate a conversation around mental health, self-management, and the importance of recognizing symptoms in themselves or others and being willing to seek meaningful help.

5. Provide a foundation for financial literacy and the significance of establishing healthy habits early in life.
