Carer Support Group for People Caring for Someone Who is Aged (Penrith)

Wellways Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to participate in our Carer Support group for People Caring for Someone Who is Aged.

Our In-Person Peer Support program is delivered over 8 sessions and is designed as an opportunity for you to learn something new and make connections with other carers in your local area. Topics and activities will be chosen by you and the other people in your group, including yoga and meditation, artistic activities, and presentations from guest speakers such as Advocacy Programs, My Aged Care and Service NSW.

Sessions will be held fortnightly from 11am - 1pm on Thursdays starting from 14th May, 2026. Carers are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the most out of the experience.

Please note: To be eligible to attend this event, participants must be residents living in South-Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains regions in NSW, Australia. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway. We can assist with new registrations for eligible participants.
