Careless is a sharp, intimate and unexpectedly hilarious look into what happens when life forces you to slow down - whether you want to or not.
Tara’s life is fast, filtered, and carefully curated - until a broken leg confines her to her upstairs flat with nothing but her thoughts and the odd biscuit. With nothing else to do, she starts observing her street: Doreen, the nosy neighbour with militant bin habits; Bert, who moves slower than time itself; and a string of passers-by with their own rituals and baggage.
Careless is a timely exploration of loneliness in a connected world, the slow decay of community, and the bittersweet comedy of neighbours we try to avoid but somehow deeply need.
