About this Event
ActivAge is committed to elevating the quality of life for family caregivers and seniors, is excited to announce the launch of its unique caregiver support group, the "Daycation Club."
ActivAge believes every caregiving journey is different, but the one thing all family caregivers need is a little break, social connections and helpful tips to care for those they love.
Daycation Club helps families take a break, enjoy a good meal and connect with other family caregivers.
"We're thrilled to offer this one-of-a-kind support group to our community," said Kris Chana, Founder of ActivAge.
"We believe that caregivers, too, deserve a day off to rejuvenate and connect with others who are going through similar experiences. It's time to give back to those who give so much."
The Daycation Club will gather every third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at various local restaurants, providing a chance to take a break, enjoy a delicious meal, and meet other family caregivers.
How does it work?
The meeting location will rotate among local restaurants, giving participants a chance to experience different cuisines and settings. Locations will be confirmed prior to each meeting.
For those worried about leaving their loved ones alone for the first time, ActivAge offers a FREE Guest Pass at their Port Charlotte adult day club.
Family caregivers can enjoy peace of mind knowing your loved one is having fun! For families who continue to attend the support group, ActivAge offers affordable and flexible daytime care.
