Caregiver Respite: Living Well - Series 1

Description

In this pilot two-part series, ’Living Well - Series 1’, caregivers will review common strategies to introduce, teach, and maintain independent living skills for their young adult at home. Explore possible adapted equipment or technology to support their learning process for sustainability.

Led by Ms Lim Ann Chi, Head of Adult Empowerment Services, she oversees the further development of the Post-18 services in Rainbow Centre. Ann Chi has many years of experience in RC in SPED at both Yishun Park and Margaret Drive campuses.

Caregivers who require childminding can bring their youths to attend a parallel activity with instructor William, to learn strengthening and stretching exercises. Wrapping up with a fun Zumba session together with both members and caregivers.

IMPORTANT

• This activity is only for YAA! x STEP Caregiver which refers to anyone who offers caregiving duty to member (eg. mother, father, sibling, helper).
• Due to limited slots, ONLY 1 CAREGIVER allowed to attend workshop.
• Light refreshments will be provided after zumba ends.
