Team Tony Cancer Foundation recognizes the impact a cancer diagnosis has on everyone - the patient, their family and their friends. Caring for someone with cancer comes with various emotional, physical and logistical challenges. While the caregiver is grateful to help and support the individual facing cancer, he or she may experience emotional strain, physical exhaustion, financial stress, isolation, and impacts on mental health.
Ensuring the caregiver gets the support they need is a focus of Team Tony Cancer Foundation.
Our monthly Caregiver Coffee Connection will be an opportunity for those caring for a cancer fighter to come together over a cup of coffee or tea and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of caregiving.
