Career Kick-Start, New Kensington 2025

Presented by Pennsylvania Women Work, held in partnership with Representative Abby Major, Career Kick-Start is a one-day professional development event designed to help job seekers boost their career search.

Join us for the day, and we'll get you on the right path to achieving your career goals! Below is a little more on what to expect at the event.

MORNING: Through group discussions and exercises, participants learn how to identify skills and communicate them on a resume and in interviews, and how to find and apply to job openings.

BREAK: We'll take a quick break for lunch, where participants will have an opportunity to network with one another and get a free professional headshot.

AFTERNOON: During the second half of the workshop, participants meet with a career coach one-on-one to refine their resume, learn about employment opportunities, and practice interviewing.
