Ever wondered what it takes to run a zoo? Career Explorations invites teens to dive into the many exciting careers that make a zoo come to life! Through guided exploration, hands-on activities, and conversations with Zoo staff, participants will discover career paths in Animal Care, Conservation, and more. This program is led by our Education team and includes brief discussions with other area experts, helping students imagine their future at the Zoo and how their unique talents can make a real impact.⏰ Time: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
💲 Cost: $125 per participant
Pre-Registration is required for this event.
👥 Who Can Attend:
• Ages 13–18
• A parent or guardian (18+) must accompany participants for check-in and check-out
ℹ️ Important Details:
• This is a drop-off program
• Zoo admission is not included and not required
• A parking pass will be emailed after registration is complete
• Participants should bring a reusable water bottle and a peanut/tree nut-free snack
• Maximum of 12 participants per date
• Registration must be completed at least one week in advance
