Jackson County Industrial Development Corp.'s annual Career College Transition Fair is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 15 in the commons and auxiliary gymnasium at Seymour High School. More than 1,800 students from all six Jackson County high schools plan to attend. This event typically draws nearly 60 booth participants, including the sectors of education, military, health care, business, financial, manufacturing, skilled trades and more. Students will receive a passport, and after going around the event, interacting with at least 10 booth participants and getting their passport stamped, they can turn it in to enter a drawing for prizes. The deadline to register a booth is April 3. RSVP by emailing [email protected].
