Parents and students are invited to learn more about the Career Academies offered at the Regional Innovation Center (RIC) in Eldridge. A Career Academy is a program that allows high school students to earn college credit while gaining hands-on, career-focused training in a specific field through Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
The evening will include a 30-minute presentation covering available career academies, followed by a guided tour of the facility so families can see learning spaces firsthand.
Career Academies available at the Regional Innovation Center include:
Agriculture
Diesel Technology
EMT
Healthcare
Horticulture
This is a great opportunity to explore hands-on, career-focused learning options and ask questions about pathways available to students.
