You are invited to participate and make a difference! Millions of God's people around the the United States will pack and pray over their shoebox gift that Samaritan Purse will send to children across the world.
Volunteers are needed at the processing center... to inspect the millions of shoebox gifts that have been collected and prepare them for international shipment. These gifts will be Gospel opportunities for children in more than 100 countries.
Playa Christian Church will be covering the shift from 9am to 5pm on Friday September 28th (the day after Thanksgiving).
All volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Due to the warehouse environment, they can not allow exceptions.
Processing Warehouse location: Fullerton.
Carpool-Van or Caravan(if driving your own vehicle) will depart on time. Meet at Sweany's at 8am for 8:05am departure. We are expected at the warehouse working by 9am.
Wear comfortable shoes.
IMPORTANT: Firm commitments to this date and the entire shift are welcomed and appreciated. Because we do understand that life happens, please let Patty know no less than one week in advance if there is a possibility that you will not be able to make it, so that a replacement for your volunteer spot can be found for this important mission.
