The much-loved Carducci Quartet returns to Shrewsbury, this time in concert with international star baritone/composer Roderick Williams. You won’t want to miss one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones collaborating with the one of the most accomplished and versatile ensembles of today.
Their program will include Schubert’s song cycle Die Schöne Müllerin, arranged for string quartet and baritone by Roderick himself as well as Schubert’s String Quartet No. 10 in E-flat major, Op. 125, No. 1, D. 87 ‘Household’.
