Cards for Heroes

🇺🇸✉️🎨 Help us honor and thank our service members! 🇺🇸✉️🎨
With Veteran's Day right around the corner, our neighborhood has a wonderful opportunity to send a little love, gratitude, and holiday cheer to our military service members serving far from home.
The Church at Finderne is hosting a community Cards for Heroes event, and we want to invite the entire neighborhood to help us fill a basket with encouraging messages and artwork!
We will provide all the cards, envelopes, pens, and a helpful guide sheet with message ideas. We will also have a dedicated table with patriotic holiday coloring pages and crayons so children of all ages can participate and create something special for our troops!
• 📅 Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026
• ⏰ Time: 11:00 AM (Right after our morning worship service during Fellowship Hour)
• 📍 Location: The Church at Finderne Fellowship Hall
• ☕ Bonus: We will have plenty of coffee, tea, and treats to enjoy while we write and color!
Whether your family stops by to write one card or 5, your support will mean the world to a hero spending the holidays away from family.
Families, children, neighbors, and friends—absolutely all are welcome. Let's come together to say a big "Thank You" to our service men and women!
