In recognition of National Heart Month, KRMC will host a community open house on Friday, February 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at the KRMC Cardiovascular Center, located at 3269 Stockton Hill Road.February is dedicated to raising awareness about heart health and cardiovascular disease, including heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke, remains the leading cause of death in the United States. KRMC’s cardiovascular program invites the community to learn more about heart health, risk factors, preventive care, and treatment options for cardiovascular conditions.
Vendors will provide live demonstrations of emergency procedures and share educational information about devices such as pacemakers and stents. Representatives from several KRMC departments will also be available to explain common tests and procedures used to assess heart health.
