Ready to race across Grass Lake in a boat made entirely of cardboard? Join the Grass Lake Lions Club for our official Cardboard Boat Race Build Days and get hands-on help preparing your vessel for race day!
Whether you're a first-time builder or a returning competitor, these build sessions are the perfect opportunity to assemble, decorate, and fine-tune your cardboard creation while connecting with other racers. Volunteers will be available to offer tips, answer questions, and help you get race-ready.

July 4th at Grass Lake County Park
Registration Opens: 11:30 AM
All Racers Must Be Registered & Onsite: 12:30 PM
Boat Judging & Contest
Race Begins Immediately Following the Contest
Winners Announced Around 1:15 PM
Bring your creativity, patriotic spirit, and sense of adventure! Participants can compete for bragging rights, race glory, and crowd-favorite honors. Spectators are encouraged to attend, cheer on racers, and vote for their favorite boats.
