Join the American Legion Riders of Post 260 for their Car Show & help raise money for Veterans Life Changing Services! Saturday, May 18th from 10a-2p. All vehicles & bikes are welcome! $20.00 Entry Fee. Spectators Free. Judging starts @ 1:00p.Food & Drink will be Available.
About Veterans Life Changing Services (VLCS): Located in Gary, VLCS provides temporary housing 120 days to 1 year. They have provided services for over 600 transitioning Veterans; assisted 79 with permanent housing; assisted 23 with obtaining employment and assisted 3 in obtaining 3 college degrees; and the number continues to increase. VLCS provides essential support services; case management; transportation to medical appointments and three meals a day.
