One night in Louisville, KY, an event band was performing a trio of Journey tunes as part of their set. An agent was in the audience, and was blown away by (singer Rob Maupin’s) vocals and the band’s execution of the songs. Rob’s ability to nail Steve Perry’s voice was uncanny.
The Agent approached the band and asked if they might be able to put together an entire evening’s worth of Journey music, because “There was something special here”!
And CAPTURED - The Ultimate Journey Tribute was born.
