Professional photographer Michael Chiusano will lead the group through some simple suggestions and techniques to improve the quality of your photographs, whether you use your smartphone or a more advanced digital camera.

2. When to call in a professional

3. Improving the quality of headshots and candids

4. Photographing your team and company events

5. How to make simple product photographs

6. Photo storage and image safety

7. Making that first real camera purchase

The workshop will feature demonstration of some of the topics covered, and picture examples for comparison. If you choose, you can send 2-3 photos in advance to [email protected] and Michael can offer helpful feedback at the workshop.

There will be time for questions and personal advice as well.

About Michael:

Michael Chiusano is a Beverly resident who spent decades working as a commercial photographer with a studio at the Cummings Center. His studio photographed food, computers, medical equipment and people for numerous clients large and small. After retiring from full-time work he transitioned to teaching photography at a technical school and various adult ed programs while building a portfolio of personal work. He is the author of hundreds of magazine articles about photography and has an active social media presence, where he posts images and commentary about photography.
