MAGIC (Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory, Inc.) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Westminster, MD.
Our mission is to build and sustain an ecosystem that maximizes the Westminster infrastructure to drive high technology innovation, education, and incubation to help transform the Westminster community to be more technologically inclusive, equitable, and accessible.
Capture The Flag, our longest-standing program, is an entry-level ethical hacking cybsecurity competition for participants at the high school and college level. Teams of 2-4 will work their way through a series of cybersecurity puzzles set up in a “jeopardy” style format to find hidden flags to earn points. Coaches will be on site to help students if needed. No prior experience is required, and the event is free for participants.

Bring your laptop if you have one! We will have some extras if needed.
In-person check-in will begin at 11am on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and the competition will begin at 12pm.
