CAPITAL LOVE: Writing Workshop | WWPH and Busboys and Poets Books
About this Event
Capital Love is the Washington Writers' Publishing House's new anthology of poetry and prose about power of love in these divided times. 55 writers are featured in 56 works that honor the diversity of human experience-love for self, for others, and for community-as an antidote.
Editors Caroline Bock and Jona Colson will lead a free creative workshop at the top of the event (no experience necessary), followed by a reading with contributors from Capital Love sharing how love is action, healing, justice.
Copies of Capital Love and Capital Queer will be available for purchase during and after the event, and the editors and contributing authors will be signing following the program.
This event is free and open to all. Doors open to guests at 6:30pm. Our program begins at 7:00 pm. Please note that this event is in person and will not be livestreamed.
We ask that guests RSVP in order to receive direct updates about the event from Busboys and Poets Books
Readings by Capital Love Contributing Authors: Sid Gold, Cesar Felipe, Alfonso 'Sito' Sasieta, Keshni Washington, Josh Mahler, Elizabeth Bruce, Abbie Mulvhihill, Therese Doucet
