Capital DJ Academy ran from 2012 to 2019 and brought together some amazing people. I’m so grateful for the hard work of the instructors, the trust and dedication of the students, and the patience of everyone when I messed things up (which was more often than some of you might have noticed, lol). I’ve started a new project called B4CKROOM (@b4ckroom.ott) - no phones or extended conversations on the dance floor, comfy couches for chatting or chilling, and killer, dark underground music (dark disco, indie dance, and general deep vibes).
I’ve been looking for a fun way to get some of y’all together and I thought this date was perfect. I’m not DJing but am hosting the event and would love to catch up with anyone who wanted to say hello.
Tickets are $10 - if that price makes it hard for you to attend, please reach out and we’ll work something out. Send an e-transfer with your full name in the comments to [email protected] to be on the guest list - folks on the list get a voucher for a free taco from downstairs if you show up before 11pm. They’re amazing 🌮
