Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival: MG Garden Tour 5

Every summer the MGACC participates in the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, a celebration of the region's signature flowers and everything "garden" on Cape Cod. In addition to offering a variety of Master Gardeners' private gardens to tour, we offer daily garden talks or demonstrations in a number of our gardens.
“Continuing garden” best describes the property of Master Gardener Pam and David Troutman. The most recent garden was inspired during the Covid pandemic by the Netflix film, "Beatrix Ferrand’s American Landscapes." The book "Inspirational Gardens of Charlotte Moss," also inspired this garden with attempts at building seating areas, multi-layered green walls, and visual interest such as rock sculpture, and gradual layered flowering shrubs and blossoms. In the spring and summer, the garden has many visitors including friends and family and a multitude of local critters including birds, rabbits, and deer, many who think it is a buffet.
Join us for a garden talk at 11:00am and 2:00pm. Entry fee is $5 cash per garden during Hydrangea Fest. Rain or shine.
