CANVASES East-Coast Premiere + Q and A + Mixer

Canvases is an anthology film created across 23'-26' & filmed partially in NYC. This will be its premiere screening for those in NY/NJ.
About this Event

Canvases is the brainchild of Jesse Eastman, Christopher Orangeo, and Joshua LaBure and we are all so proud to finally share it in Paterson NJ (just a 45-hour drive from the city).
It was imparative to find a screening venue so that everyone people involved all have an accesible public screening for themselves, family, and friends to see their work and what better place than a locally owned and operated pillar of the indie film community: Open Film Screenings!

DOORS open at 7 and the pre show starts at 7:30

It is advised that you show up between 6:40 and 7:15 so that you can gain entry and have time to grab food/drink and find seats. The pre show will not be delayed.

PRE SHOW will consist of a brief introduction and then THREE (3) short films, each one created by one of the Directors of Canvases, which will run from 7:30-8:05.

Line Up: 1) "Without" by Christopher Orangeo, 2) "Many Different People at Once" by Joshua LaBure, 3) "The Blip" by Jesse Eastman

All films played contain mature themes, swearing, and in some cases nudity. Be advised.

MAIN SHOW starts at 8:05-8:10.

Canvases has a runtime of SEVENTY-FIVE (75) minutes, after which time there will be a

Q&A where the cast and crew in attendance will field questions from the crowd.

This will go for 20-25 minutes. This is your chance to engage with the art you've just seen and get insights into the filmmaking process.

When the Q& A ends, there will be 20-30 minutes for people to mingle and connect with other filmmakers in attendance.

Openfilmscreenings offers beer and pizza and recieves all proceeds from concessions, so please consider having a drink and a slice.

AT DOOR- 15$ (cash only)

Cast and Crew, as well as donors of the "Premiere Invite" donation tier and above will be put on a list and admitted for free- this sadly WILL NOT apply to plus ones/family/friends who will be asked to pay

There will also be a QR code on screen before and after the show for any additional donations, which will be filtered through to the cast and crew who borught Canvases to life.
