Kick off the holiday season in Heritage Park with a lighted trip around the pond featuring tons of winter fun, entertainment, and refreshments (for purchase). Back for the second year, is the Winter Wonderland Holiday Parade, starting at 4 p.m. along Veterans Way from Summit Parkway to Heritage Park Dr. This parade will feature marching bands, community groups, and festive holiday lights, with a special visit from Santa at the end of the parade.Generously sponsored by: Papaya Market, DTE, Central City Dance, National Heritage Academy, Sweetwater Coffee & Tea, Expressions Music Academy, The Learning Experience, Behavior Frontiers, Kenz Coffee, and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers.
Parade Route :
* Steps-off behind the Trinity Heath Medical Center
* Travels north along Veterans Way
* Ends at Heritage Park North Pavilions
Parade Tips:
* Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs
* Best viewing will be along Veterans Way
* Food vendors will also be onsite
