Our Adult Lifeguard Development Day is back for another year! We are looking to engage our growing group of adult lifeguards across the Canterbury and Tasman regions, who miss out on attending never development opportunities such as Intermediate Lifeguard School which covers the Rock Training & Rescue Module and Rescue Board Module.
When: Saturday 18th of April
Where: Taylors Mistake SLSC
Saturday 18th April
full day of training including, rock module, first aid scenarios, and the group will then split for an afternoon of a rescue board module or Intro to SAR - your choice)
First aid and intro to SAR are also open to Patrol Support also
There is an additional add-on development opportunity to gain your Patrol Captains award on the Friday (17th) evening. This will be dependent on sign up numbers. Location TBC.
If you've done it before and enjoyed it, you're welcome to come back again for the day and network with the other adult lifeguards from your region and have a play out on the rocks!

Current SLSNZ member
Refreshed SLA
Club endorsement
Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate OR Online Radio Communication Module
Cost:
There will be a course fee of $50 per attendee that will be invoiced to your club. This will cover the cost of food which will be provided on the day.
