Special Classes with Stephanie Pedraza on Wednesday October 1, 2025
Cante 7:30-8:30pm: In this workshop you will learn some letras (lyrics) in the bulerías form, perfect for parties. Open to all levels, this class is a great way to deepen your understanding of the form and structure of bulerias.
Bulerias practicum 8:30-9:30pm: Come practice your bulerías patadas! This class is for everyone who has a bulería patada and wants to get hands on practice with live music and different styles of bulerias letras. In the party circle, dancers will take turns getting out and riding the wave of their patada! Coaching, suggestions and guidance will be offered as appropriate. There is no obligation to dance, dancers can come and just play palmas in order to observe, participate, and build their understanding of bulerias at their own pace. Open to all dancers with a working understanding of bulerias.
