Mother Trees for Asian Immigrants : Art making Workshops for Asians in King County

Come join us at the Viya Contemporary Art Gallery in Bellevue for a series of art workshops celebrating the beauty and interconnections of the Banyan Trees. Also knowns as:
- हिन्दी (Hindi): बरगद — Bargad
- 中文 (Chinese): 榕树 — Róngshù
- 日本語 (Japanese): ガジュマル — Gajumaru
- Filipino (Tagalog): Balete
- Melayu / Bahasa Indonesia: Beringin
- ไทย (Thai): ต้นไทร — Ton Sai
- Engligh: Ficus Benghalensis
Connect with your roots and fellow community members in this art making activity honoring our mother trees and connections to the motherland.
These workshops are open to everyone. Bring your children and make it a family activity. All materials will be provided. No art or clay experience is needed.
You also get a small honorarium for participation.
