This program takes place during MCCSC Fall Break!
Bloomington's best water-based scavenger hunt has returned to Griffy Lake! Start with a review of canoe safety and paddling fundamentals before launching onto the lake. Search for clues, and collect points to win prizes. Bring drinking water, and dress for the weather. Children under the age of 16 yrs. must be accompanied by a registered adult. Registration fee is per canoe; each canoe can accommodate 2 to 3 people. Only one person per canoe needs to register, and will provide names and ages of passengers during registration. Canoes, paddles, and PFDs are provided.
$30 in-city per canoe
$35 non-city per canoe
For ages 10 years and up with an adult
Registration closes 10/11 or when the program fills
