Are you interested in learning how to store away yourvegetables using the water bath pickling method? If you are please join us at Zion Lutheran Church on Occtober 11th from 12:30pm-2:00pm for a canning demonstration. We may try canning cucumbers, salsa, or Jalapeño jelly. We will use fresh vegetables that are ready from the Farmers Rising Farm in Blackhawk Courts. All supplies will be provided, and you should anticipate taking home what you prepared.

The Canning Demonstration will be held at Zion Lutheran Church at 925 5 th Ave, Rockford IL (Please enter from the
rear of the church by the train tracks) on Friday, October 11th, from 12:30 – 2:00 (We will start promptly at 12:30)
