Come learn how you can fill your pantry with safely home-canned goods. Try your hand at making some dilly beans, learn about safe preservation, review food safety, the canning process (both water bath and pressure canning), the science of pickling, and so much more!
Class participants will each leave with a jar of dilly beans, recipes and informational handouts.
Instructor: Amanda Strojinc of Hopefully Homesteading
Details: 5:30-8pm Friday August 7 in PHS Room C105
Fee: $39 through July 31, then $49
