Canine Training Intermediate

This intermediate-level canine training class is designed for dogs who have completed a beginner course or have a solid foundation in basic obedience. The class focuses on enhancing existing skills and introducing more advanced behaviors using research-based techniques and effective training methods. This class prepares you and your canine for the AKC Canine Good Citizen, (CGC) a 10-item test that demonstrates that your canine has the training and behaviors needed to be a reliable, well-behaved member of the community. Topics covered include refining loose leash walking, building reliable recall, strengthening stay commands, and improving focus in high-distraction environments. Expert guidance will be provided to address individual training challenges, ensuring progress tailored to each dog's needs. Limited to 4 dogs per class to maintain an optimal learning environment.
