Over 70% of bites happen to children. A majority of bites are from a dog the child is familiar with (family dog, friends or grandparents dogs, neighbours dogs).To help reduce that number it is important to have kids develop the knowledge to safely navigate dog interactions. Using a combination of discussion, skill building activities, and games we aim to help kids achieve the necessary abilities to promote their own safety by enhancing critical thinking, empathy, and self-awareness.
Don't worry parents and guardians, we didn't forget about you! Some of the discussion material is very much for you too!
At the end kids receive little goody bags and a certificate of completion!
$25/ ticket. Limited to six tickets for child and parent/guardian so get them fast!
