TThe Owensville Lions will be doing their annual Candy Day Roadblock fundraiser on Friday, October 18th. Lions Club members will be at the intersections of 1st & Hwy 28 near Simply Sweet and Hwy 19 & 28 near McDonalds in Owensville collecting whatever you wish to donate--all that change in your cars change tray, or how ever much paper money you'd like to contribute. You won't go away empty handed--you'll have a choice of a roll of Peppermint or Spearmint-flavored mints. All proceeds support KidSight, which provides children with vision screenings to detect vision issues. Every $8 donated provides one vision screening.
