Candy Cane Kids Fun

We have a full day of activities planned for the kids during the 19th annual Lorton Holiday Extravaganza. Santa kicks off the fun at 8:20a as he arrives courtesy of the Lorton Fire Department .

The 8th annual Candy Cane Kids' Fun Run starts promptly at 8:30a. Walk-up registration is available on the day of the race, but race giveaways are only guaranteed to those who register in advance for the race. Each runner and an accompanying adult also receive complimentary admission to the Holiday Extravaganza happening from 9a-3p inside the school.

Following the race, kids have the option to join Santa for the Jiingle Bell Parade, sponsored by Potomac Music. Santa will lead the parade from Stallion Stadium across the parking lot and into the school to the Candy Cane Kids' Corner with more fun activities for the littles! Face Painting - Games - Greetings for the Troops where kids and adults can create a holiday greeting to send to our deployed military troops. Santa will be avaialble for photos from 10a-12p. The Fairfax Sheriff's office will offer complimentary Child ID and Fingerprinting and there is a special Jingle Bell Kids' Shoppe where high school students will help the younger kids do their holiday shopping for family members.
