A candlelit sanctuary for deep rest, inner release, and sonic renewal. 

Step into a dark, candlelit cocoon for your nervous system: a sacred space where sound becomes medicine. Be bathed in the healing vibrations of 7 chakra crystal quartz bowls, celestial gong, the grounding medicine drum, sonic chimes, and other mystic instruments that awaken the senses and restore harmony within.

In this candlelit sanctuary, we invite the body to unwind, recalibrate, and return to balance. The evening will begin with guided & grounded breathwork and meditation, followed by a transformative sound journey, and will close with a gentle closing ceremony to honor the experience.

Led by Maryzelle Ungo, a Salvadoran sound healer, multi-instrumentalist, and ceremonialist with over 15 years of musical experience. Holding a B.A. in Music with a focus on Sound Therapy, she bridges the worlds of science and spirit, blending her background in energy healing, curanderismo, reiki, and yoga into each sound journey.

Maryzelle’s approach is trauma-informed and heart-centered, guiding participants through sound as both an artistic expression and an ancient form of energetic medicine. Her soundscapes draw from the earth and the cosmos, weaving ancestral frequencies with modern healing modalities to create deep restoration and release.

This event takes place in the beautiful healing sanctuary of Sweet’s Ballroom, home to Ecstatic Dance Oakland, where countless souls have gathered in movement and meditation. The space carries a vibrant frequency of community, transformation, and embodied freedom, making it the perfect container for this sacred sound journey.
