Join us for a Night of History by Candlelight
We look forward to sharing an evening with you in the soft glow of candlelight as you step into the historic homes of Castroville, “The Little Alsace of Texas.” This is a gentle and beautiful night where the past feels close and the spirit of the season fills the air.
Wander through carefully preserved historic homes and sites, each lit by candlelight or gas lamps and filled with the stories of the families who lived there. Our docents will warmly welcome you and share the history of the homes, the architecture, and the people who shaped our town. As you move from house to house, you’ll be adorned with Christmas music and musicians, and you’ll see each home dressed for the season with grace and tradition.
The evening includes:
• Tour of historic homes and sites
• Candlelit or gas-lamp ambiance
• Guided visits with docents
• Holiday decorations
• Christmas music and musicians
• Refreshments at Zion Lutheran Church
Ariving & Exploring
