Experience the wonder of this holy night in this candlelight communion service, with music from the Boston Avenue youth Chapel Choir and Camerata singers.Senior pastor Rev. Dr. Sam Powers will preach the sermon, “Registered in Bethlehem," over Luke 2:1-20, as we look at the idea of Joseph’s family relocating to Bethlehem for a Roman registration as a way to keep the people in order. How does God break through in the midst of Rome’s movement to keep a subjected people under wraps? And how does God continue to work for good in spite of what larger world powers do?
The service ends at midnight with the Chapel Choir singing the Hallelujah Chorus in Bishops' Hall, just as the joy of Christmas Day begins!
