Candlelight walking tour at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Meet historic residents and explore Sioux Falls history by luminary light.
About this Event

Step into Sioux Falls history after dark with a one night only Candlelight Historic Walking Tour at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Stroll along the luminary lit paved paths and meet a few of the cemetery’s eternal residents.

This guided tour blends storytelling, local history, and atmospheric October charm. You’ll learn about Mount Pleasant’s past, its notable figures, and a few of the stories that still linger among the headstones.

Half of all ticket proceeds support Mount Pleasant Cemetery’s ongoing restoration, upkeep, and future improvements, helping preserve this vital, historic, and very much alive part of Sioux Falls for generations to come.

One night only. Rain or moonshine. Some stories include real tragedies. Please use discretion when attending.
